Solid instruments:
- are mainly intended for large halls and concerts. They called master instruments.
- materials, which are used, are entirely solid
- they are much better working than semi-solid instruments
- production is difficult and lengthy
- ribs and back are make of Canadian Walnut, Maple, Indian Rosewood
Semi-solid instruments
- are designed for beginners and students, who begin to study at the conservatory
- solid resonant top
- ribs and back are pressed
- production is less demanding than production of solid instruments
- materials for production are: Rio Palisander, Honduras, Makasar, Bubingo, Ovangol, Mahagon, Maple
